  • Who or what is Qmee?

    Qmee is an online companion that offer shoppers the ability to search, earn and save through a personalized experience that connects them with the brands they love.

    The Qmee platform helps shoppers search for what they want, compare prices and secure discounts while earning cash along the way. Qmee also offers survey takers the chance to share their thoughts and opinions through taking surveys while earning cash rewards.

    Our two founders spotted the opportunity to do something good for internet users, online businesses and charities. They spent a year building the Qmee technology around their idea and getting the right expertise and support in place, and then launched in 2012. We're now a growing business, operating in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia.

  • What do I get when using Qmee?

    When searching with Qmee, it works in the background to show you relevant results on the left hand side of your screen when you're using your favorite sites. We give you cash rewards for shopping on your favorite sites and engaging with your favorite brands, we display price savings when we find you a better deal so you don't have to go to different sites to compare, and we offer you money saving coupons and deals on the items you're shopping for.

    When taking surveys with Qmee, we give you the chance to share your opinions and earn rewards at the same time – for every survey you successfully complete you'll receive a cash reward.

  • How much will I earn?

    There's no limit to how much you can earn. We offer you cash rewards for engaging with brands, as well as for sharing your opinion by answering surveys. Remember, we also save you money with access to thousands of automatic coupons and offers, and displaying price savings when we find you a better deal.

    You can also earn even more by inviting your friends to join Qmee. Some Qmee users are earning thousands just by inviting their friends!

  • How do I sign up for Qmee?

    It's free and easy. Go to our sign up page and enter your email address and a password of your choice (you can also use Facebook or Twitter to sign up if you prefer).

Searching with Qmee

  • How does it work?

    Once you have the Qmee extension installed in your desktop browser, it works in the background as your personal online shopping and saving companion. You'll see a Q in your browser toolbar that you can click on to see your balance at any time.

    You can get cash rewards when you're searching on your favorite sites and engaging with brands you love. You can also get price savings when we find you a better deal with our automatic price comparison tool – all without having to go to different sites to compare, as well as coupons and deals. These appear as additional results on the left of your screen in the Qmee sidebar, on the sites you're already searching on. Just click on the results that interest you to earn cash or save money.

  • How is this possible?

    Brands pay to appear in Qmee's search results. This income is split between you, the shopper, and Qmee. This is an innovative model and at Qmee we want to put you back at the heart of the internet.

  • What's the catch? There's no such thing as money for nothing…

    There isn't a catch - you get more when shopping and searching online with Qmee. You earn cash when you search for what you want online by clicking and engaging on results related to brands you love. We provide you with the ability to discover new brands, compare pricing or secure money-saving coupons for products and services you want to purchase. Essentially, you're getting extra cash just for doing what you already do!

  • Does Qmee change the search results I see?

    No. You still see exactly the same results from your usual search engine as anyone who doesn't use Qmee - the only difference is that you see some extra ones that earn you money, show you price comparisons on the items you're shopping for and offer you great money-saving deals and coupons if you choose to click on them.

  • I've just joined, why am I not seeing any results?

    We only show results when we have something relevant to show you, so we won't appear all the time or every time you search. Qmee gives the best results when you're searching normally and clicking on results that interest you. This gives you the most rewards but also allows the business that list with us a chance to connect with you.

    We do look at your pattern of searches and clicks to determine whether to show you results or not and this changes over time as you use the service. If you're not seeing anything today, don't worry, when it sees you have settled down to a normal search pattern you'll start to see results again. You'll also get the chance to share your thoughts and opinions by answering online surveys a few days after joining Qmee - you'll earn a cash reward for each survey you complete.

  • Why don't all Qmee results show rewards?

    There are 3 reasons...

    1 - As well as showing results with cash rewards, we also show coupons and deals in the sidebar to make your internet shopping experience even better, and save you money too. Coupon results contain a discount code for you to use which will save you money should you decide to buy something from the linked website.

    2 - If you're seeing a result without a cash reward attached it may be a result from our price comparison feature. These results show you the best prices on the products you're shopping for without you having to go to different sites to compare - we do the work for you, all you do is save even more money!

    3 - If you have already clicked on a result and earned the reward for that result, you might see the result appear again (in case you want another look at that website) but it won't have another reward attached.

  • Will Qmee work if I have Adblock installed?

    Yes. Adblock shouldn't cause any problems when you install and use Qmee. However, if you do notice any problems, please let us know.

Taking Surveys

  • How do I get surveys?

    Surveys are available to everyone – you just need to opt-in to receiving them! You'll see a “Surveys” tab on your Qmee dashboard where you'll find an opt-in survey. On the mobile app, it's the first page you see. You need to answer the opt-in survey carefully and honestly to ensure you receive the right surveys for you.

  • How often will I get surveys?

    New surveys are sent to you whenever they become available from the survey providers – they'll be shown on your “Surveys” tab, both on desktop and on the mobile app. Make sure you answer all questions honestly on your opt-in survey.

  • Why was my survey unsuccessful?

    There are a number of reasons the survey providers will decline a survey and deem it as unsuccessful; if you don't meet the criteria they're looking for for that particular survey (every survey has a certain criteria of respondent needed and the questions to determine whether you meet the criteria can be asked at any point during the survey), if the maximum number of respondents for that survey has been reached (this can happen at any point during a survey), or if you were answering the questions too quickly, inconsistently or illogically (they see this as fraudulent behaviour).

  • What do the survey icons mean?

    You may have noticed some icons being shown on a few of the available surveys on your Survey Dashboard. Take a look at the icons below and what each of them means...


    Hot Surveys are our pick of the hottest surveys right now! They don't stick around for long so make sure you watch out for them and take part in them right away.


    Recontact surveys are follow-up surveys to one that you previously successfully completed.


    Webcam surveys will ask you to use your webcam when participating in the survey. We understand that not everyone will want to use their webcam, so you can disable these surveys (so you won't be sent any that ask you to use your webcam) in your Survey settings section.


    This icon is for surveys that will request Personal Identifiable Information (PII) from you, for example your name, email address or phone number. You can disable these surveys, if you're not comfortable giving out personal information, in your Survey settings section. You should only take part in a survey that asks for your information if you are completely comfortable with the collection and usage of this data.

  • I've had an issue with a survey, what do I do?

    Please email our support team with the survey ID and as much detail of the issue as possible. If you have any relevant screenshots that would be helpful too.

  • What are Daily Polls?

    Find out what other Qmee users think by answering our daily poll questions! Each day a new question is asked, and you’ll get to see how many people agree with you (or don’t agree with you!) when you choose your answer. You’ll find the Daily Poll on your Survey Dashboard – from asking who you think the best superhero is, to finding out your favorite pizza topping, the daily polls are always fun and interesting!

  • What is a survey/daily poll streak?

    Increase your survey rewards when you maintain a streak of 5 consecutive days of completing surveys or answering the daily poll. Your reward increase will be available for as long as your streak is active and will be shown next to the original survey reward. On your Survey Dashboard, you'll see 5 Oinqs which represent how many days you have left before you've completed your streak - Oinq will be shown as a grey outline with a lock underneath and then will turn green when you complete a survey or answer the daily poll each day. As you have to maintain a streak for 5 consecutive days, you'll be shown how many hours/minutes you have until your next streak task is ready to take!

Cashback Offers

  • What are Cashback Offers?

    We call them our hand-picked money earners! Whether you’re looking to change your internet provider, buy a new phone, or even start enjoying a weekly meal plan, with these specially chosen cashback offers you’ll be getting a free cash reward at the same time as doing something you were going to do anyway - it’s a win-win situation! The first few will appear on your dashboard, then just click on all offers to browse all the options.

  • How do they work?

    First of all, you need to have a Qmee account and be logged in so that you can see which offers are currently available. Once you've decided which cashback offer you'd like to take part in (and which reward you'd like to receive!), you'll be taken to the brand's website – we'll track this to ensure you receive your reward if you're eligible and complete the cashback offer. The brand will then let us know when the cashback offer has been completed. You'll receive the reward in your piggybank once it has been sent to us by the brand – this can take up to 60 days, unless otherwise stated (for example, if you've chosen to take part in a Travel offer, the reward if often only given once you've completed your trip/stay).

  • What do the statuses mean?

    There are a few different statuses that you may see when taking part in a cashback offer. Take a look at what they are and what each of them means

    Tracked - the brand has confirmed that you clicked on their offer and were taken through to their website, but they haven't confirmed that the offer has been completed or approved your reward yet.

    Pending - the brand has confirmed you clicked on an offer and were taken through to their website, but they haven't approved your reward yet.

    Rejected - your offer reward has been rejected by the brand.

    Paid - your offer reward has been approved by the brand and they've confirmed you've completed their offer. The reward has been added to your piggybank and will be shown in your Qmee History.

  • Why is there a wait before my reward is paid?

    You can receive your reward anywhere between a couple of weeks after completing the cashback offer, up to 90 days after. There is always a wait before your reward is paid, and the length of the wait depends on the specific brand, when they complete the transaction from their end, and when they send your reward through to us.

  • Do I have to be a new user to complete a cashback offer?

    You don’t have to be a new Qmee user, but in some cases, you must be a new user for the specific brand you’ve chosen to complete an offer with, in order to receive the reward. The Terms and Conditions for each cashback offer are shown as you hover over one, before you click on it. Please be sure to read through these prior to completing the offer.

  • Can I complete a cashback offer more than once?

    Unless otherwise stated, an offer can only be completed once and the reward for the offer can only be added to your piggybank once.

  • Can I receive a reward for a cashback offer I completed previously, outside of Qmee?

    No. We can only honor offer completions that were initiated and completed via the link provided on our Cashback tab. If you completed an offer directly from the advertising partner's website, or over the phone, prior to accessing your Qmee account, your completion cannot be honored by us.

  • Can I complete a cashback offer with Adblock turned on?

    No. We use cookies to link your offer reward back to your account, and these can be blocked by Adblock. To allow offer tracking, make sure you have Adblock turned off before clicking on the offer you want to take part in.

  • Why has my cashback offer reward been rejected?

    If the offer you took part in is showing as Rejected on your Offers dashboard, this means that the brand has not approved you to receive the offer reward. We may not know exactly why the brand has reached this decision, but some possible reasons may include:

    – You cancelled or returned your order or part of your order.

    – You used a promotional code, voucher code or another form of discount not approved by the brand when making your purchase.

    – The brand provides offer rewards to new customers only, and you have shopped with this brand before.

    – You may have used a saved quote or a renewal quote to make this purchase.

    – You did not complete your order online i.e. it was finalized over the phone.

    – You did not meet the Terms and Conditions set by the brand.

    – You may have used a saved quote or a renewal quote to make this purchase.

  • How do I cancel or unsubscribe from an offer I completed?

    Products and services subscribed to or purchased through an offer shown on your Qmee Cashback tab are all from third-party brands. To cancel or unsubscribe from these offers, you will need to contact the brand directly. The contact information is in the brand’s terms of services or the receipt they provide you upon offer completion. If you decide to cancel or unsubscribe from the offer, this may affect your receipt of the cash reward.

  • Other important information...

    We cannot be held responsible if the brand fails to report your sale to us. Brands have their own rules upon which they determine transactions to be genuine - for example, an attempt to simply earn a cash reward by clicking/registering with no intention to continue to use/buy from their website could be deemed as non-genuine. These rules may or may not be advertised by ourselves or the brand and may be discretionary. Rewards will only be credited for offers that are advertised by us and that are fully completed.

General Information

  • Is Qmee safe? Reassure me…

    We take your security and privacy very seriously. We encrypt all communications so that no-one can listen in. We encrypt your password on our servers so that it cannot be read by anyone it shouldn't be. We don't share your data with anyone else without your permission. By using Paypal to cash out your rewards we don't hold any of your financial information. This is covered in more detail in our Privacy Promise.   • What will you do with the information I give you?

    Qmee does not share shoppers' data with third parties, without shoppers' permission. When you join Qmee, you agree to our information use and data protection policy as explained in our terms and conditions.

    As in everything we do, we're honest and transparent about how we use your info – for more information take a look at our Privacy Promise.

    If you leave Qmee, we'll remove as much information as we can about your account other than data we are required to hold under statute.

  • What operating systems and browsers does Qmee work with?

    Qmee works in Windows, Mac OSX and Linux, using Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera. Very old versions of your browser might not work, so you might want to consider getting up to date.

    We're keeping an eye on demand for Qmee through other systems and browsers, so if you think we're missing something, drop us a line to let us know.

  • Can I use Qmee on my mobile, tablet or iPad?

    We have an app for both Android and iOS mobiles and tablets.

    With our app, you can earn cash rewards by sharing your thoughts and opinions through taking surveys, as well as gain access to great money saving coupons and deals for some of your favorite brands.

  • How quickly does Qmee pay out?

    However you opt to empty your piggybank, we do everything in our power to get your earnings to you or your chosen charity right away. Usually money will appear in your Paypal account within a few minutes of you asking for it and if you've chosen to cash out your rewards to a gift card, you should receive an email from us within a few minutes too.

    (Banking hours, public holidays and systems outside Qmee's control can sometimes cause a delay.)

  • What if I don't have a PayPal account?

    Two choices. Either you can sign up for one – it's free and doesn't take long – or you can choose to donate your piggybank contents to charity.

  • Can I spend my rewards on a gift card?

    Yes. From time to time we may offer the option to spend your Qmee rewards on a gift card. If you choose to cash out to a gift card you will receive an email with a code which you will need to use to redeem your gift card. Make sure you keep this code safe as you are fully responsible for your code – we will not be able to reissue you with the code if you lose it. If you choose to cash out to a gift card, the gift card cannot be exchanged for cash or a different gift card so make sure you choose the one you most like the look of.

  • How can I invite my friends?

    Once you've been with Qmee for a while you will receive a personal invite link that you can share with friends to use when they sign up. You'll see an “Invite friends” tab on your Qmee dashboard - this is where you'll find your invite link which you can share via email or your social accounts. Your referral must sign up through your link and when they make their first cash out to Paypal, you'll earn a reward in your piggybank. Remind them there is no minimum cash out amount!

  • Can I give money to any charity at all?

    We have a list of charities set up to receive Qmee donations. If your favorite isn't here, let us know at support@qmee.com we'll get in touch to see if they'd like to join us.

  • Does Qmee take commission on donations to charity?

    No. Every penny you choose to give from your piggy bank will go directly to them.

My Account

  • Can I make changes to my account?

    Yes. You can make changes to your account from the “Details” tab on your Qmee dashboard or the “Account” tab on the mobile app. If you would like to change the email address that you use to log in to your account you can do so here. Remember, you are only permitted to have one Qmee account so edit your email address to the one you want to use rather than create a new account.

  • Do I need a different account for each browser, PC or mobile that I use?

    No. You are only permitted to have one Qmee account so you can use the same one across all browsers and PCs/laptops that you use, and with the mobile app. You just need to log in to your account on whichever browser or device you want to use and install the app from your dashboard, or just log in to your account once you've downloaded the mobile app.

  • Can I update my PayPal account details?

    We connect to your PayPal account ID, so you can update your PayPal account details on PayPal directly and it won't matter, you'll still receive your Qmee rewards. Just make sure the email you want to receive notifications on is set as your primary email in your PayPal account, then when we send you your rewards you'll get notified by PayPal on this email.

  • Can I change the PayPal account linked to my Qmee account?

    In order to make sure each of you get the right rewards, it's really important we know who people are when they cash out. For this reason, you can't unlink a PayPal account once you've linked it so please make sure you link to the correct PayPal account when you first cashout.

    However, you can link additional PayPal accounts if you'd like to change where we send your rewards to.

  • Why can't I log in?

    If you are having trouble logging in, there are 3 things that could be going wrong.

    1 - Are you entering the wrong email address? Double check the welcome email we sent you – it confirms the email address you used.

    2 - Did you sign up with a social log in? Make sure you are choosing the correct option when trying to log in.

    3 - Have you forgotten your password? No problem, you can reset your password.

  • Why can't I cash out to a gift card?

    You must have a PayPal account linked to your Qmee account before cashing out to a gift card - this is because we want to make sure everyone receives the right rewards. Before cashing out to a gift card, we need you to verify your identity first by cashing out (any amount) to your PayPal account. We don't want anyone taking your hard earned gift cards!
